Please be advised that MCSM receives a limited amount of metrocards from the DOE.  Metrocards must be handled with care and treated as cash, as we cannot immediately replace them every time they are lost.  Lost metrocards must be reported to Ms. Nunez in the Main Office, who will immediately deactivate them.  Students will be issued a Lost Student Metrocard Letter to show upon entry to public transportation, however, MCSM does not guarantee that the letter will be honored. Therefore it is imperative that students have a backup metrocard or enough money to be able to get home in the event they lost their metrocard. Lost metrocards are not guaranteed a replacement and may take a week or more for a replacement to be issued. 
Students should see Ms. Nunez in the Main Office 151 in the event of a lost metrocard.
